The Greene County Rams rounded out the 2023 portion of the wrestling season after a dual with Saydel at home on Thursday and a Saturday meet in Carroll.
The Rams will return to the mat Jan. 2 at Nodaway Valley with a tournament on Jan. 6 at Atlantic High School.
On Thursday, the Rams hosted Saydel, with the Rams winning 60-23. Wins were had by all but two Greene County wrestlers.

106 – Jaron Jacobs; 126 – Jacob Harmeyer; 132 – Roman Sebourn; 150 – Jackson Turner won by forfeit.

Carroll tournament – The team traveled to Carroll on Saturday. Many team members took places in the meet, including: first place – Jaron Jacobs 106 and Brent Dennhardt 165; second place – Zeke Binkley 144, Jackson Turner 150 and Marcus Ball 215; fourth place – Brennan Jacobs 113 and Degan Miller 175; 5th place – Crew Conner 138.
The team took fourth out of 11 teams at the meet.
